Komatsu Straight Side Presses

Production Resources offers Komatsu's complete line of straight side presses suitable for 121-4000 ton applications. Komatsu straight side presses are virtually maintenance free, and offer the highest stroke rating in the industry. Frames are available in various configurations, including solid, single piece unitized bodies to full tie rod construction. Press drives are available in eccentric, link, or servo motions, with precision helical gearing hardened and ground running in oil.

Komatsu plunger guided slides increase die life by a minimum of 30%. Other features include keyless splined power shaft connections, hydraulic slide locks, and a force-cooled hydraulic clutch and brake system.

Also included is Komatsu’s own SIT-II press control with 100-job memory and “built-in” automation features such as automatic single stroke operation mode, and interfaces for both light curtains and coil lines.

Komatsu G Series

Komatsu G Series mechanical presses feature full tie-rod construction, making them ideal for forming and blanking. The Komatsu G series is suitable for 220-1100 ton applications.

These presses are available in Eccentric Drive or Link Motion Drive configurations. Link Motion Drive techology reduces snap through force for precision forming at the bottom of the stroke.

Komatsu M Series

The Komatsu M Series features precision stamping capabilities and superior accuracy for progressive die applications. The M series is intended for 220-1100 ton applications.

These presses are available in Eccentric Drive or Link Motion Drive configurations. Link Motion Drive techology reduces snap through force for precision forming at the bottom of the stroke.

Komatsu W Series

The Komatsu W series is a solid framed, cost effective solution for lighter tonnage applications, 121-400 tons. This press features an extremely rigid symmetrical straight side frame design with a center drive, two-point slide mechanism and 6-point centerline gibs. The reduced deflection design is ideal for progressive die applications.
