The standard model 840 is a 6’-2” high wire partition. This is a practical guarding solution which also helps contain fragments, projectiles, or scrap that may be a byproduct of a process malfunction. The partition uses crimped and woven wire mesh that is rugged while providing good visibility to the guarded process or area. Panels are 5’ high which are bolted to 6’-2” posts using standard hardware. Base plates are provided to mount posts directly to the floor and the completed partition leaves a 12” sweep between panels and the floor.
WireCrafters’ perimeter guarding is available in a variety of standard panel widths ranging from 1’ to 10’ in 12” increments. 3’ and 4’ hinged doors are also available. Standard gray panels are available for quick 48 hour shipment while yellow and black panels are typically available in 1 week.
Optional 8’-5” high partition systems are also available. These use two 4’ panels stacked on 8’-5” posts with a 3.25” sweep space between the panel and floor. Single or double hinged doors are optional on this system.
Other perimeter guarding options available include: special colors, lift out and removable panels, cutouts, special heights, integrated welding curtains, special panel materials, and mounting plates for interlocks.
Rapid Wire HD models feature welded wire panels and are generally perceived as more rugged. Otherwise they are similar to the 840.
RapidGuard partitions feature lift out construction for fast/easy installation. These are available in 6’ or 8’ heights and a variety of widths from 6” to 60”. Interlock brackets and/or interlocks available as well as a number of other standard options including yellow or black colors.
Style 304 stainless steel barrier guards are ideal for food processing, or clean room environments where wash down may be required. Panels are made of square welded wire with 1.375” openings. Sizes available to suit applications.
