Overview
Southworth DL Series Heavy-Duty Hydraulic Lift Tables lift loads up to 25,000 lb, with raised heights up to 100". Heavy-plate platforms with structural reinforcement minimize deflection, a wide base adds rigidity, and built-in hydraulic overload relief helps protect personnel and structures. For high capacity in less height, Southworth's L Series CAM Lift Tables handle 8,000 to 30,000 lb.
Key Features
- Capacities up to 25,000 lb
- DL Series models are rated from 4,000 to 25,000 lb, with 36" to 84" of vertical travel and raised heights up to 100".
- Heavy-plate platforms
- 3/8" or 1/2" top plates with structural reinforcement minimize deflection. Standard platforms run from 47" x 76" to 72" x 144".
- Hydraulic overload relief
- Built-in overload relief helps protect personnel and structures, and the wide base adds rigidity and stability.
- Low-pressure hydraulics
- Oversize, low-pressure cylinders with chrome-plated rods, and hoses with burst strength 600% greater than operating pressure. A safety chock prevents accidental lowering during maintenance.
- L Series CAM lifts for low clearance
- The CAM design reaches 8,000 to 30,000 lb with lowered heights of 7-5/8" to 11-1/4" and platforms up to 72" x 96".
- 460V three-phase standard
- 3.2 HP power units at 460/3/60 are standard. 1 HP single-phase units are available, with rise time increased by a factor of 3.3.

Applications & Benefits
- Heavy industrial loads: DL Series lifts raise heavy loads to a safe, workable height.
- Cargo handling: Southworth lists cargo handling as a primary use for its DL Series heavy-duty lifts.
- Pit-mounted installations: DL Series lifts can be pit mounted. An increased roll-over capacity option strengthens the table where trucks or transporters cross the lowered platform.
- Low-clearance, high-capacity lifting: L Series CAM lifts carry up to 30,000 lb from a lowered height as low as 7-5/8".
How to Choose the Right Heavy-Duty Lift Table
- Start with the load weight and the platform size you need.
- Set the lowered and raised heights. If lowered height is tight, look at the L Series CAM lifts.
- Pick the vertical travel: 36", 48", 60", 72" or 84" on DL Series models.
- Decide on floor or pit mounting, and whether vehicles will cross the lowered platform.
- Confirm available power. 460/3/60 is standard; single-phase units raise more slowly.
- Note the duty cycle. Southworth offers high-duty-cycle bearing packages and regreasable pivot points.
Why Southworth Heavy-Duty Lift Tables Are Trusted
- Built to ANSI MH29.1: Southworth scissor lifts are designed and manufactured to meet or exceed ANSI MH29.1 Safety Requirements for Industrial Scissors Lifts.
- Rigid under heavy loads: Heavy-plate platforms, structural reinforcement and a wide base keep deflection low.
- Documented service: Southworth publishes service manuals for its lift tables, from preventative maintenance to leg rollers, pumps, down valves and relief settings.
