Double Gripper Air Feeds
PRE Double Gripper Air Feeds are designed with the material grippers on a common carriage for accurate controlled material feeding. They are especially effective with thin and/or flexible materials that require gripping on both sides for fast smooth and accurate feeding. Crank operated stroke adjustment is a standard feature.

Bridge Gripper Feeds
PRE Bridge Gripper Feeds are built with a “bridge” bar or grippers that contact material across its entire width except where the grippers are relieved for upper and lower entrapment (anti-buckling) rails. They are an excellent solution to problems associated with feeding thin, flexible or delicate materials. The large contact area on the material and the even feed force provided by the center line mounted cylinder insures fast and accurate trouble free operation. Crank operated stroke adjustment is a standard feature.

B-11 High Speed Air Feed
Our B-11 Series of “Hitch Feeds” answer your needs for a compact air feed that is easy to install, runs faster than all other feeds of this type and does not have over 30 o-rings and other high maintenance components. All B-11 feeds include a 120 volt solenoid operated valve that is externally mounted, instead of complex internal valving. The very effective hydraulic shock absorber decelerates the feed block at each end of the stroke for accuracy to +- .001.

Metal straightening is a crucial step in coil processing, ensuring smooth and efficient feeding into production machinery. As metal is manufactured, transported, and rewound, various imperfections such as camber, center buckle, coil set, crossbow, and edge wave can develop, affecting performance and part quality.
Press Room Equipment specializes in powered and pull-through straighteners, offering solutions tailored to different production needs:
Pull-Through Straighteners (Unpowered): These models rely on a feeder to pull the metal through rollers, making them cost-effective and space-saving. However, they may be less effective in maintaining precision.
Powered Straighteners: Equipped with driven rollers that actively move the material, powered models provide greater accuracy and consistency, reducing defects and ensuring smoother processing.
PRE straighteners are designed to remove coil set and other common imperfections, ensuring high-quality metal feed into presses and production lines. While PRE does not manufacture corrective levelers, its straighteners deliver reliable performance for various metal processing applications.
PMS Powered Straighteners
A full range of motorized, variable speed straighteners are designed and built for durability and easy operation.
Press Room Equipment Co.’s heavy duty, pull thru straighteners are available in 1.5”, 2”, 2.5” and 3” diameters. Our straighteners rolls are independently adjustable featuring a highly reliable worm gear and cross shaft arrangement.
Straightening rolls and pinch rolls are hardened and ground 1060 steel with a surface finish in the 12-16 RMS range. They are equipped with machined side plates, heavy duty bearings and hardened stock roller guides.
