Applications & Benefits

  • Packages to pallets: NLE gravity conveyors carry everything from lightweight packages to loaded pallets.
  • Heavy unit loads: The Model 950, with 3-1/2" pipe rollers rated at 2,000 lb, is the heaviest model in the line.
  • Holding product in place: Roller brakes and pop-up blade stops are available where product must be held on the line.
  • Turntable infeeds: NLE uses gravity roller or skate wheel approaches as the infeed to its Model 180 turntable.
  • Transfer tables: Where a traditional gravity conveyor doesn't suit the application, NLE offers skate wheel and ball transfer tables.

How to Choose the Right NLE Gravity Roller Conveyor

  1. Start with the roller rating the load needs: 100 lb (901), 240 lb (910), 280 lb (911), 600 lb (920), 650 lb (921) or 2,000 lb (950).
  2. Choose roller diameter and tube gauge; multiple diameters and wall thicknesses are available at a wide range of centers.
  3. Match the frame: 12 or 10 gauge frames on the 901, 910 and 911; channel frames on the 920, 921 and 950.
  4. Add roller brakes or pop-up blade stops where needed.
  5. Ask about special configurations, a heavy-duty frame, or skate wheel and ball transfer tables.

Why NLE Gravity Roller Conveyors Are Trusted

  • Quality conveyors since 1948: New London Engineering, of New London, Wisconsin, has built conveyors since 1948 and is a full line conveyor supplier.
  • Published ratings for every model: NLE lists roller diameter, tube gauge, hex axle, frame and roller rating for all six Series 900 models.
  • One source for the whole line: Gravity sections, powered conveyors, turntables and controls come from the same manufacturer.
