Overview
PAX spray cabinets lubricate the top and bottom of coil stock as it enters the die, without the cumbersome, maintenance-heavy roller systems. The cabinet sprays, contains and collects the lubricant, and a recycling port returns excess lube.

Product Line / Models
Three cabinet designs, chosen by the space between feed and press:
- Funnel-shaped cabinet – Mounts to the roll feed and extends into the press upright opening.
- Vertical cabinet – Typically mounts between the roll feed and the press.
- Short funnel cabinet – Mounts on the feed, with the cabinet between the press and the feed.
Applications & Benefits
- Galvanized and dirty material: PAX rates spray cabinets better than roller coaters for galvanized and dirty stock.
- Very thin material: Non-contact spray suits extremely thin stock.
- Contoured parts: Spray can apply lube to contoured parts.
- Cleaner pressroom: Lube is contained in the cabinet, and excess can be recycled.
How to Choose the Right PAX Spray Cabinet
- Space between the roll feed and the press, and the press upright opening.
- Maximum coil stock width the feeder accepts.
- Stock material, thickness and coating (galvanized, dirty or very thin stock favors a spray cabinet).
- Lubricant type. Roller coaters apply thicker lubes and a more even coat; spray cabinets need no wear parts.
- Whether you already run a PAX lubrication system, such as Pre-Pressurized or V-Series.
