  • Stock Reels: Available in powered and non-powered versions, with adjustable or fixed centers. Built with heavy-duty shafts, full bearing support, rugged centering arms, and steel cabinets for reliable coil payoff.
  • Pallet Reels: Allow coils to remain on shipping pallets, minimizing material handling.
  • Specialty Reels:
    • Reel/Straightener Combo: Saves floor space and boosts productivity.
    • Dual Swivel Reels: Speeds up handling of heavy coils.
    • Rim Drive Reels: Enables payout from the press or reel’s backside.
    • Multi-head Reels: Supports payout, rewind, and interleaf protection.

100 Series Stock Reel Models

Rapid-Air’s 100 Series Stock Reels offer one of the most complete selections of coil reels in the industry, designed for durability, flexibility, and performance. These reels are available in:

Powered Reels

  • Feature electric drive with a proportional control system for variable speed, loop height adjustment, and loop sensing.
  • Models range from 75 lbs to 500 lbs capacity, with coil diameters from 18" to 48" and adjustable centers.
  • Ideal for automated coil payoff with precision control.

Non-Powered Reels

  • Available in all sizes, from 50 lbs to 500 lbs capacity.
  • Equipped with mechanical drag brakes for tension control.
  • Designated as NF (non-powered fixed center) or NA (non-powered adjustable center).

Fixed Center Reels

  • Built for simplicity and reliability, with capacities and dimensions similar to powered models.
  • Often used for specific applications like paper interleaf.
