Overview
Southworth LS-Series Hydraulic Lift Tables are rugged scissor lifts for machine feeding, work positioning, assembly, order picking and pallet loading. Standard models lift 2,000 to 12,000 lb to raised heights up to 98 in., with platforms available up to 60 in. x 156 in. PRI supplies LS-Series lifts configured with the power, controls, platform and base options each job needs.
Key Features
- 2,000 to 12,000 lb capacity
- 17 standard models, from the LS2-60 to the LS12-36, with 36 in. to 84 in. of vertical travel.
- Large platforms
- Standard platforms run from 24 x 56 in. to 30 x 120 in. Oversized platforms are available up to 60 x 156 in., depending on model.
- Working tops
- Gravity conveyor tops, pneumatic ball transfer tops and turntables let the lift transfer or turn loads, not just raise them.
- Safety options
- Velocity fuse to stop the lift from falling if a hose is severed, upper and lower travel limit switches, and bellows skirting to keep debris out from under the lift.
- Power and duty options
- 12 V or 24 V DC power units, a NEMA 4 motor for wash-down, motor upgrades for faster lifting, and a Super Cycle package that extends recommended maintenance intervals to 200,000 cycles.
- Mounting and finishes
- Pit-mounted, portable (casters or semi-live skids) and fork-pocket versions, with two-part epoxy, corrosion-resistant coatings or stainless steel.

Applications & Benefits
- Machine feeding: Raise parts, blanks and stock to the infeed height of production machines, a use Southworth lists first for the LS-Series.
- Work positioning and assembly: Hold heavy parts and assemblies at a comfortable working height to cut bending and reaching.
- Pallet loading and order picking: Raise or lower a pallet load to the right height for loading and picking.
- Conveyor lines: With a gravity conveyor or ball transfer top, the lift transfers loads on and off conveyor systems.
- Long sheet, bar and tube stock: The related LST tandem lifts serve as feeding tables for tube welders, formers and panel saws, and for bundling and banding bar stock.
How to Choose the Right LS-Series Lift Table
- Start with the load weight, including anything that rides on the platform with it.
- Set the lowered and raised heights you need. LS models offer 36 in. to 84 in. of travel.
- Size the platform to the load. Oversized platforms are available up to each model's maximum.
- Check your power. Most models use 460/3/60 three-phase units. 1 HP single-phase units are available, but rise time is about 3.3 times longer. 12 V and 24 V DC are also options.
- Choose the top and mounting: plain, conveyor, ball transfer or turntable top, and floor, pit, caster or fork-pocket mounting.
- Add the safety and duty options the job needs: velocity fuse, travel limit switches, skirting, the Super Cycle package for high-cycle work, or a NEMA 4 wash-down motor.
Why Southworth LS-Series Lift Tables Are Trusted
