Couplers connect the mold's water, hydraulic, air and electrical lines in one move instead of one hose at a time. Pascal auto couplers connect automatically as the mold is set, and Pascal multi couplers connect several lines at once by hand. Benefits include faster changeovers and fewer connection mistakes.

What's the difference between an auto coupler and a multi coupler for molds?

A Pascal auto coupler connects water, air and hydraulic lines plus electric connectors automatically during the mold change. A Pascal multi coupler is manual: it connects several hydraulic, water or air lines at once with a slight push on the gripper.

What port sizes do Pascal auto couplers support?

Fluid couplers from 1/4" to 2", and electric connectors up to a maximum of 60 A.

What's the difference between the MCA and MCC multi couplers?

The MCA is the open (check valve-less) model; the MCC is the check valve model.

Can couplers connect thermocouple and signal lines?

Yes. Pascal's non-contact connectors carry thermocouple and signal lines, shown on a 12,000 kN hot press.
