Forging Presses

Forging presses apply controlled, high‑force deformation to shape metal into near‑net‑shape components with exceptional strength, density, and structural integrity. Unlike stamping, forging refines the internal grain structure of the material, producing parts that withstand extreme loads, fatigue, and wear. Mechanical forging presses deliver the rigidity, precision, and energy capacity required for cold, warm, and hot‑forging applications, supporting everything from simple hardware to complex automotive and industrial components.

1. Cold Forging Presses

Cold forging presses form metal at room temperature, producing extremely strong components through strain hardening and controlled compressive force. The process delivers excellent dimensional accuracy, smooth surface finish, and significant material savings, making it ideal for high‑volume production of precision parts. Cold forging is widely used for components that must withstand high stress and repeated loading.

Typical PRI use cases: fasteners, pins, bushings, small gears, precision hardware, and components requiring tight tolerances with minimal secondary machining.

2. Warm‑Hot Forging Presses

Warm‑hot forging presses shape metal at elevated temperatures, allowing deeper deformation, more complex geometries, and the forming of materials that cannot be shaped cold. The softened material flows more easily, enabling the production of larger or more intricate parts while maintaining excellent structural integrity. Warm‑hot forging is essential for applications where part size, complexity, or material properties exceed the limits of cold forming.

Typical PRI use cases: automotive shafts, bearing housings, connecting rods, structural components, and medium‑to‑large industrial parts requiring high strength and controlled grain flow.
