Overview

New London Engineering inclined conveyors use cleated belts to carry loose, unpacked items such as plastic parts, nuts and bolts and stampings from a horizontal position up an incline. Inclines are available from 0° to 75°. Four models cover widths from 4" to 48": the standard-duty 500, medium-duty 505, heavy-duty 506 and V-guided 351. PRI supplies New London Engineering inclined conveyors alongside the rest of the NLE line.

Key Features

  • Cleated belts
    • Black PVC 120 belts carry 1-1/2" high cleats on the 500 and 351, and 3" high cleats on 12" centers on the 505 and 506.
  • Inclines to 75°
    • Inclines are available from 0° to 75°. The 500 and 351 can be used in both horizontal and inclined applications.
  • Side rails and bottom pan included
    • Each base unit includes side rails and a bottom pan; the 505 and 506 have 6" high side rails. Infeed hoppers are optional, and a wide selection of side rails and hoppers keeps product contained.
  • Choice of drive locations
    • Drive locations can be chosen so the conveyor fits a wide array of openings. The standard drive is top mounted on the right side.
  • Heavy 13" frame
    • The 505 and 506 are built on a 13" deep, 10-gauge frame with a large drive pulley and 8" infeed pulley, made to withstand heavy usage.
  • Belt options
    • A wide variety of belt options is available to maximize product throughput.

  • Plastic parts, bottles and caps: The 500 conveys plastic parts, empty plastic bottles or cans and bottle caps.
  • Scrap lumber: NLE lists scrap lumber among typical Model 500 loads.
  • Larger, heavier products: The 505 and 506, with 3" cleats and 6" side rails, move larger and heavier products up inclines.
  • Narrow V-guided runs: The 351 fits narrow, shorter run inclined applications.

How to Choose the Right New London Engineering Inclined Conveyor

  1. Size the product: smaller, lighter items on the 500 or 351; larger, heavier products on the 505 or 506.
  2. Set the width: 4" to 30" (500), 4" to 24" (351) or 12" to 48" (505, 506).
  3. Set the length: up to 20' for the 500 and 351, 5' to 25' for the 505 and 506.
  4. Set the incline angle, 0° to 75°, and the drive location that fits the opening.
  5. For the heaviest service, choose the 506 with its heavier 1-11/16" drive shaft.
  6. Add an infeed hopper or discharge chute as needed.
