How to Choose a Belt Conveyor

• Load and part size: weight per foot, part footprint, and whether parts are sharp, oily or hot.
• Frame and duty: light-duty aluminum frames for assembly and automation, heavier steel slider beds for industrial loads.
• Path: straight, incline, decline, floor-to-floor or curves.
• Speed and control: fixed or variable speed, and how the conveyor ties into the press or line controls.
• Space: available height, width and length, including under-die clearance for press work.
