Overview
PAX DMC drum motor conveyors remove parts and scrap from dies. A geared motor sealed inside the steel drive pulley replaces chains, sprockets and external motors, so the conveyor is low-maintenance and fits where an outboard motor would not.

- Length, width, capacity and speed are made to order, and options are added as needed.
Product Line / Models
The DMC is built to order on one of three frames, with several mounting options:
- Standard DMC frame – 2.5 in. tension pulley, 3.65 in. frame height (5.14 in. at the motor end). Used unless a very low profile or extra rigidity is needed. Belt is flush with the conveyor end.
- Heavy-duty frame – 4.39 in. tension pulley and 5.2 in. frame height for added rigidity on large conveyors.
- Low-profile frame – 1.5 in. tension pulley, under 2 in. high; the tensioner extends 3.1 to 5.1 in. past the belt. Maximum width, length, speed and load are reduced.
- Cantilever base – Base stays outside the press while the entry end reaches into the die area through the uprights.
- Powered tilt, lift and horizontal movement – Electric linear actuators, run by jog button or HMI, with optional preset positions.
- Telescoping (stacked) conveyors – The upper entry conveyor extends or retracts, manually or powered.

- Die protection: An optional stopped-belt sensor ties into the press control die protection circuit so the press can stop if the belt stops.
- Part separation: Removable, adjustable parts dividers keep parts in lanes on the belt.

- Belt width and length: 12.5 in. to 72 in. wide, up to 13 ft to 20 ft long depending on configuration.
- Height available at the die: standard, heavy-duty or low-profile frame.
- Speed: standard 20 to 80 fpm, or the SPM option for over 250 fpm, fast start/stop or indexing.
- Mounting: legs, stands, cantilever base, or powered tilt, lift and horizontal movement.
