Bolster extensions maximize efficiency in quick die change applications when fork trucks are used to transport and load dies. Bolster extensions allow a die to be staged at the front or back of a press with a fork truck, and then pushed into the die space over die mounted hydraulic die lifters. Sub-plates under the lower die are required. Bolster extensions are available as lift off or folding models.
