Shaker conveyors move scrap along a tray with a controlled shaking motion. With no belt or chain in the material path, they handle ferrous and non-ferrous scrap, and they can mount on the press, the bolster or the floor. PRI supplies electric shaker conveyors from MPI and PAX, including press-mounted and floor-mounted models.

What to Know Before You Choose

• Mounting: on the press or bolster, or on or below the floor for longer runs.
• Scrap volume and length of run.
• Width: the crossbar or tray width that matches the press.
• Where the scrap goes: a hopper, dumpster or central scrap system.
