Roller conveyors move cartons, totes, pallets and parts on rollers, either by gravity or with powered (live) rollers driven by a belt or chain. PRI supplies New London Engineering gravity, belt-driven live roller and chain-driven live roller conveyors, including curves and accumulation.

How to Choose a Roller Conveyor

• Gravity or powered: gravity for short, sloped runs; live roller when loads need to be driven, spaced or accumulated.
• Load: the weight and bottom surface of what you're moving; heavy loads and pallets point to chain-driven live roller.
• Accumulation: whether loads need to queue without pressing against each other.
• Layout: straights, curves and transfers.
